Last week I went to a tasting event at La Maison du Chocolat at the Plaza Hotel, I jumped at the chance to go and have a snoop in the Home Alone hotel and also home to Eloise at the Plaza. It's a little different than in the film but still very snazzy and glamourous. The Macaroons are meant to be the best in New York rivaling Ladurée and they were seriously good. The chef at the event was loading up cups of their famous chocolate ganache which was smooth and delicious, and little salted caramel chocolates that were melt in your mouth yummy.
